Customer Review: I had thinning at the temples about 5-10 years ago, at age 30-35. Even though the instructions don't advise use there, I noticed the receding stopped after a few months use. I have been applying for 5 years, and my hairline even came back a little. Even though baldness runs in my family, at the temples and the crown I have a very healthy head of hair. I wonder if the application to the temples also kept my crown from thinning, by getting into the bloodstream a little.
I only apply at night, so I don't have the problem during the daytime, as others have described it.
Though the product may not be great at restoring hair, it definitely keeps the existing hairline in tact.

Customer Review: First noticed hair loss about three years ago. I have been using Rogaine for a little over two years now and have completely stopped losing hair. I apply all over the scalp with Q-Tips; this seems the best way to evenly apply it. My hair line has stayed the same, even though I am only 24 years old. I started using it both night and day, but recently started using it only in the morning. I just hope I keep all the hair I have since baldness runs in my family. I for one would recommend this product.

Customer Review: I am a big believer in checking reviews on things before I buy, and I know it is very hard to find reviews on this product on the web, so I wanted to write a quick review to let people know of my findings... I am a 30 year old male and I would guess that I have been loosing my hair for a little over 5 years. My hair was getting pretty thin all over the top of my head. I started taking Rogaine Extra Strength 5% solution about 4 months ago. I have also been taking NuHair Regrowth Tablets along with Rogaine (I have been taking NuHair for about a year now, also check my review of NuHair Regrowth Tablets). I can say that I am Very impressed with Rogaine so far. After the first month I started seeing new hair growing, and I am not talking about little peach fuzz like I have seen some reviews talk about. I mean real hair that is the same color as my other hair. I have been using Rogaine all over the top of my head. The hair on the back of my head is growing in the quickest, but it is definitely growing back all over. The way things are going I think that after a year I will have 90% of my hair back. Also, I was able to find a couple of other reviews on Rogaine, and a lot of people complained that they had more hair loss when they first started using Rogaine. This didn't happen to me at all. The only complaint that I have so far is that I do get little white flakes in my hair sometimes, because the Rogaine flakes off of my scalp, but they aren't noticeable at all and they are definitely worth the results.

Customer Review: I have started using Rogane at age 62 and after three months the bald spot at the top of my head is covered with hair. I have always had fine hair, but hair now covers the spot and you can't tell that I had NO hair there at one time.

Customer Review: This stuff has worked for me - I've been using Rogaine since 1995... first in its original (high priced) versions for around $80 or $90 and now that I can get the generic brand for $10 per month, it's a great deal. I've stopped using it a couple of times and always notice a big difference when I do (and so does my barber). So, I recommend Minoxidyl but get the generic because the name brand doesn't do anything special. Your wallet will thank you.

Customer Review: I purchased 4 month supply. I am 47 and I've grown a bald spot over last 3 years. I wanted to try Rogain to see if it helps. This is the only one I have ever tried. It takes few weeks before you see the effect. After 4 weeks I saw hair growth in bald spot. My spot was about 2" diameter. It is now 6 months I've been using it. I have grown almost 90% of my hair back. I say it works great. Only thing, you have to keep using it without skipping days. Great product.

Customer Review: I've been using Rogaine for 2 years. I started at the age of 48; 49 is the cut-off age starting a Rogaine regimen. After 4 months, regrowth is evident. The top of my head is still the thinnest part, but it is now less thin, remarkably (I'm less self-conscious than before). I don't mind that I have to apply it twice a day; I use the applicator, not the eye-drop. This is very convenient. It doesn't drip all over the place, (unless I walk around upside-down). After a few minutes, I comb my hair, and then 2 hours later, I comb it again. This second combing separates the hair, leaving it fuller, (for the wet Rogaine ironically makes the hair on top look thinner, like after the rain). This second combing also replaces the light stickiness of the now-dry Rogaine with softness. Hair loss and baldness run deeply in my family; I'm the only one in my family that uses Rogaine, and I'm the only one with hair.
